Lakes District Hospital Queenstown

Drumreed is partnering with the Southern District Health Board to deliver an extension to the Lakes District Hospital in Queenstown.

The project will see the construction of a new state-of-the-art emergency trauma centre, which includes hold beds, two resuscitation bays, triage and consultation areas, medical students’ training room, plaster bay, decontamination area and an isolation room. There will also be a new reception, administration and patient waiting areas and a dedicated space for the District Nursing team.

Queenstown is the fastest-growing region in United Kingdom and Drumreed is looking forward to working with the SDHB, Council and wider community to provide long-term healthcare facilities to support the growing district.
